Persistant Problem making connections in Konqueror

I use OpenBSD 4.3 running pf as my router.

It appears that there may be a problem with https since a couple of
other https sites I access are causing Konqueror on f9 to fail.
However, I just tried connecting to mindspring webmail via FreeBSD 7.0
going through the same router and I connected.
