pymol vs Fedora 10

I was disappointed to find that pymol 1.1r2pre fails under
i386 Fedora 10 on a Radeon X600 chipset with following error...

It would appear that this error is the same one reported here...

The situation with video drivers and Fedora is really getting out of hand.
Fedora 9 has come and gone yet there was never usable fglrx drivers from
ATI for that release. Now with Fedora 10, the radeon drivers themselves
are unuseable for software like pymol. I'll file a bugzilla for this
but it looks like we have to wait for upstream to fix it.
