Why is Fedora not a Free GNU/Linux distributions?

More specifically, it is not desirable that people are compelled to 
obtain their software from a monopolistic company because restrictions 
on otherwise almost-usable free code keep it from being competitive.

It is also not desirable that people are deprived from being able to 
share all the potentially useful combinations of GPL-encumbered code 
with code that is actually free.  While technically every user could 
obtain his own copy of each and do the necessary work or hire someone to 
to combine them, the GPL will prevent sharing it in the improved form.
