I found a 3D package that depended on mono to be "cross-platform", so I
gave it a whirl. It failed pretty much like your's did. So, I went on a
yum spree, and fired up smart package manager and used it's search
function to find every darn Fedora mono rpm package I could find. Then I
installed them all. After all of that, the build still failed. I
researched it some more, and found other packages in tar files that
needed other packages in tar files and it got REALLY wild. So, I gave up
in "Fear and Loathing" of the entire process. Not ready for prime-time
was my own uneducated view. Others mileage may vary. That was just my
