Attansic L2 problem on kernel x86_64 2.6.24.5-85.fc8

Hi All on the list,

I've an ASUS mobo with an Attansic L2 ethernet card, running FC8 in 
64bit mode and kernel
v2.6.24.5-85.fc8. The Attansic L2 driver is the one caming from the 
standard kernel. so below
