F9 and Samba problem

smbclient -I 192.168.1.4 -L <machine name>

You have to use the -I option when specifying an IP address. You 
still need a machine name at the end, but it can be a dummy name. I 
would think that using the -I option would eliminate the need for a 
machine name, but it does not work that way.
