New kernels do not work.

Please help. PC stuck in grub> prompt.

Getting error when loading updated kernels:

Error 13: invalid or unsupported executable format


Updated kernels do not boot. The kernel that came with the DVD boots
fine. I tried regular kernel and also the PAE kernel (I have 4GB of
RAM).

RAID1 setup on a Intel DP35DP.

This works:
