Sorry you feel this way Andrew.  Many people don't agree, but what we
can all agree on is that free software gets better when people
contribute to it constructively.  Why don't you try to pick one thing
(and only one thing, not a laundry list) that aggravates you about
Fedora 9, and explain what you feel is wrong with it?  The answer
might be to file a bug on that issue because the developer or
maintainer doesn't know about it or hasn't encountered it.  Or it
might be that you are missing a crucial piece of information that
would help you understand or change it.

I look forward to hearing a more constructive response.  In the
meantime, you can keep using Fedora 8, which is due to be maintained
until at least around Christmas, i.e. the end of December 2008.
