Big time delays in replies sent to the list

Since your message was delivered all you need to look at is the
full headers and the time stamps that each mail system adds to the
headers.   You can compare and contrast to other messages on this
list to see if all the messages are delayed or just yours.

The obvious steps are you to your service provider, your ISP to Redhat,
redhat to the list, the list to the archives and the list to you.

The most common issue with big lists is that someone is first and
someone is last.   If in the middle of the list a bunch of hosts are
SLOW the the time from first to last delivery can be longer than expected.

Others suggested that you also check the archives.    Messages
will be archived there and you can see if your messages was
delivered to the list and is simply being slow getting back to you.

Some users will see delivery in seconds and others hours on big
lists like this.  Especially when a chunk of the membership is 'slow' for one
reason or another.

Other times there are internet mail storms....
It pays to keep a free email account handy to send yourself a
test message or two.
