How i start Network eth0 without NetworkManager

[root at malchik ~]# chkconfig --list network
network         0:off   1:off   2:off   3:off   4:off   5:off   6:off
[root at malchik ~]# chkconfig network on
[root at malchik ~]# chkconfig --list network
network         0:off   1:off   2:off   3:on   4:on   5:on   6:off
[root at malchik ~]# !sync
sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync;sync

 I usually don't use Network-Manager if it's a server, anyway probably is going to be attached on ethernet && runlevel 3.
