Power cut woes

proc - process information pseudo-file system

It is created every time you boot, and does not carry over from one
boot to another.

$ mount | grep proc
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
none on /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc type binfmt_misc (rw)

You may want to run "man proc" for more information.
