You can't have this both ways, Jesse.

The packaging committee has clearly *not* agreed a policy on use of 
$RPM_SOURCE_DIR since the guidelines are silent on this.  Do you agree 
with that statement?

Various people have pointed out some positive and some negative aspects 
of $RPM_SOURCE_DIR in this thread.  Do you agree with that statement?
