Whether this is entirely relevant, but one of the editors I've heard
back from already has commented that besides the technical information
and features of each release, they are interested in our community and
the issues facing it, and so I think this sort of information does
interest some outside :)

Specifically, this was one of the people from linux.com who mentioned this.
