Description :
mod_fcgid is a binary-compatible alternative to the Apache module mod_fastcgi.
mod_fcgid has a new process management strategy, which concentrates on reducing
the number of fastcgi servers, and kicking out corrupt fastcgi servers as soon
as possible.

Update Information:

This update contains a new version of the SELinux policy for mod_fcgid, which is
merged with the policy for regular CGI applications. The new policy will soon be
included in the main selinux-policy package but this update provides a means of
testing existing applications with the new policy before that happens.
Merging policy in this way will address the "multiple different specifications"
warning for the SELinux context type of /var/run/mod_fcgid that occurs regularly
if the mod_fcgid-selinux package  is present ona Fedora 8 machine (#462318).
