Summary : A user and group account administration library
Description :
The libuser library implements a standardized interface for manipulating
and administering user and group accounts. The library uses pluggable
back-ends to interface to its data sources.
Sample applications modeled after those included with the shadow password
suite are included.

* Detect attempts to create duplicate user or group entries by renaming an
existing entry. * Don't set up a home directory containing an user name-derived
"." or ".." by default * Support some inetOrgPerson attributes in luseradd and
lusermod to allow e.g. creating inetOrgPerson entries by luseradd. * Report an
error when a non-existent name is passed to lid.
