Name : deluge
Product : Fedora 10
Version : 1.1.2
Release : 2.fc10
URL : http://deluge-torrent.org/
Summary : A GTK+ BitTorrent client with support for DHT, UPnP, and PEX
Description :
Deluge is a new BitTorrent client, created using Python and GTK+. It is
intended to bring a native, full-featured client to Linux GTK+ desktop
environments such as GNOME and XFCE. It supports features such as DHT
(Distributed Hash Tables), PEX (µTorrent-compatible Peer Exchange), and UPnP
(Universal Plug-n-Play) that allow one to more easily share BitTorrent data
even from behind a router with virtually zero configuration of port-forwarding.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

Deluge 1.1.2 fixes many bugs with daemon connectivity (being able to connect
from a different user account), torrents being stuck in a "Checking" state, more
enhanced tracker icon and torrent bdecoding support, and corrections to the "-l"
("--loglevel") option. In addition, it includes fixes to the oldstateupgrader
(for those upgrading from 0.5.x), as well as fixes for setting the outgoing port
and Peer TOS byte. The GtkUI has been updated to fix opening links from the
Help menu and others, as well as properly remembering the sorted column in the
torrent list, proper saving of the Files and Peers tab states, fix a crash in
AddTorrentDialog when removing torrents (and also disallowing duplicate
torrents), torrents' display after disconnecting and reconnecting to the daemon.
Finally, the directory ownership for the scalable icon has been fixed. Deluge
1.1.0 contains many significant bugfixes and enhancements, such as options to
change the outgoing port range and peer TOS byte, ability to add torrents by
infohash/magnet URI (for trackerless usage), and basic authentication support
for the daemon. The GtkUI also contains many updates and capabilities, such as
showing peer progress, ability to manually add peers, file and directory
renaming support. The WebUI now supports HTTPS, easier Apache mod_proxy use,
enhanced details in the Peers information (equivalent to the information showin
in the GtkUI of Deluge 1.0.x), and fixes for viewing on iPods. Deluge now also
contains a ConsoleUI which can be called from the command-line or from scripts
as needed. Please see the included ChangeLog file (in the package
documentation) for further information on these and other changes.
