That's very weird... There is, in %install

rm -f $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{_libdir}/*.la

and the appropriate globs in %files:
%{_libdir}/lib*.so.*

and in devel
%{_libdir}/lib*.so

Could you please attach the build log?
