my /etc/fstab
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00        /       ext3    defaults        1 1
devpts  /dev/pts        devpts  gid=5,mode=620  0 0
tmpfs   /dev/shm        tmpfs   defaults        0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01        /home   ext3    defaults        1 2
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol02        /usr   ext3    defaults        1 2
proc    /proc   proc    defaults        0 0
sysfs   /sys    sysfs   defaults        0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol03        swap    swap    defaults        0 0

and i tried to add 
/dev/cdrom
/mnt/cdrom
ext3 

i mean i filled 3 input boxes in Add entry box and then i save but i could not
able to see any new added entry.


will try on other machine also
