OK, all of the above has been fixed in my tree except for the last review point.
Should I keep ChangeLog, AUTHORS and NEWS updated too? I've been keeping the
ChangeLog entries in the spec updated so it seems rather as duplicated work to
edit the top-level ChangeLog and NEWS files as well... 

Anyway, I'm currently yum upgrading my rawhide installation and with 233
packages to go it will take a while before I can build the RPMs. I'll post the
updated files tomorrow when yum should be done - knock on wood :-)
