Okay, there's an update what should fix that file-moving issue. It's here:

http://devserv.devel.redhat.com/~stransky/

(it's not public because i don't have enough space for it on my
people.redhat.com account)

All plugins are installed to common location in /usr/lib(64)/mozilla/plugins.
The modified firefox package uses plugins from
/usr/lib(64)/mozilla/plugins-wrapped.

The plugins are linked (or wrapped, if the nspluginwrapper package is installed)
to mozilla/plugins-wrapped directory by firefox-plugin-config utility.

firefox-plugin-config is called when firefox is starting and all should work
out-of-the-box (all you need to do is restart the browser).
