Why 192.168.0.x as a default network? Why not ask a question like which net
device will the clients be attached and derive the correct network?

The server should be using static rather than dhcp addresses so the right
network configuration is in /etc/sysconfig/networking-scripts/ifcfg-ethx... or
it can be read from the output of ifconfig if it was dhcp.
