I have the dreadful feeling that I'm missing something ;-)
I just looked over this several times, and I don't see where they are being
started at install time. The only place that /sbin/service or /sbin/chkconfig
appears is ./usr/share/ltsp5/scripts.d/17-enable-services, which is executed by
/usr/sbin/ltsp-initialize
