You should use rpm-macros instead of hardcoded paths:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/RPMMacros

/usr/share/applications/fedora-*.desktop
make prefix=/usr

make prefix=/usr DESTDIR=%{buildroot} STRIP="" install
