Some pedantic issue:

You are using $RPM_BUILD_ROOT and %{buildroot}:

rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_ROOT
make install DESTDIR=%{buildroot}

it's the same thing, use pick one and use that.

There are no make step %build, it that correct?
