thank you for your pledge.

About 2151:
I know all YAML alternatives for PHP pretty well and all of them have their
pitfalls, including syck; ATM syck-php segfaults for Fedora, at least on x86_64
and also i386 IIRC. spyc and Horde_Yaml are too slow because processing is done
via pure PHP code and while seeming mature, syck seems to be unmaintained (0.55
released 2005 May 18) and still sticks around with YAML 1.0; libyaml on the
other hand is considered alpha state despite being very stable (I'm using it for
production!), is under active development, offers YAML 1.1 support and has
php-yaml as third-party binding which is at least capable of deserialization
already; I've added a patch to get parser errors into PHP and sent it to the
original author but no reply so far. If necessary I'll add serialization support
myself.

Please consider the alternatives :)
