So in this case although there are no such pertinent conflicts but one might
arise in the future, the only solution that crops up is to work with upstream
rather than patching up Makefile/renaming binaries as this might cause distro
specific inconsistencies. I will mail upstream right away and see if the
binaries and manuals can be renamed.
