Thanks. I had a look at the debian bugtracker and although there are quite a
few bugs open the maintainer seems to respond to them. He has another email
address though (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?package=debmirror)

I've added a manpage and a few Requires for things like rsync which debmirror
uses.
