Yes, I am aware of this and another bug. Please see the following threads:

I have been using the gstreamer system library all along, and continue to do
so. Even with the latest 0.10.22 gstreamer package the freezing issue is still
there.

At this point we're going to have to wait on the upstreamed patches.
