Disabling the updates is straightforward, we just need to patch the prefs.ui
file and arista-gtk file. The main concern is installing the locales files, the
only way that i know is by importing some distutils extensions, if there is a
better way, we should get it done and upstreamed.

So, should we use python-distutils-extra ?
