time for perl 5.10.x in devel?

I'd be volunteering to assist maintaining/co-maintain all of the
perl-modules and to act as principle maintainer for those which are
direct deps of rt3 (I haven't checked which would qualify as such.
Probably something similar to Steve's list).

But: I'd also prefer to share the load and prefer to see collective
maintainership to be encouraged, so .. proposal:

Can't we agree upon to collectively maintain these "soon to be orphaned"
packages in general? (Q: Who is "we" - perl-sig "seniors"? Everybody who
maintains, say, more than 10 perl-modules?)
