Summary: Pentium is said to be supported, but the build is for
                    i686
           Product: Fedora Documentation
           Version: devel
          Platform: i586
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: high
          Priority: low
         Component: release-notes
        AssignedTo: relnotes at fedoraproject.org
        ReportedBy: goeran at uddeborg.se
         QAContact: kwade at redhat.com
                CC: eric at christensenplace.us, wb8rcr at arrl.net
    Classification: Fedora

The release notes for F12, at least the Swedish PO file I'm currently
translating, has a message

#. Tag: para
#: HardwareOverview.xml:65
#, no-c-format
msgid ""
"The following CPU specifications are stated in terms of Intel processors. "
"Other processors, such as those from AMD, Cyrix, and VIA that are compatible "
"with and equivalent to the following Intel processors, may also be used with "
"Fedora. Fedora &PRODVER; requires an Intel Pentium or better processor, and "
"is optimized for Pentium 4 and later processors."

But rawhide is built for i686, which I thought translated to Pentium 4. So I
didn't think a "plain" Pentium was supported any longer.

Have I confused the meaning of these i?86 numbers, or is it a bug in the
release notes?
