Re: nforce 3 drivers?

Every motherboard manufacturers will place the drivers on their website for downloading, I
do not know if they already have drivers for Linux 64,  but AMD 64 is backward compatible with 32 bits. I know Suse Linux has drivers for AMD 64 maybe it  is in a beta stage

There must be a driver (s) because for the AMD 64 bits, the only chipset used at the
present time are Nforce 3  and Via 8 and at the present time there are only four motherboards that have been manufactured and they are: ASUS, MSI, ABIT and Gigabyte. which support the AMD 64 and the Opteron CPU.

I am not sure what you mean by NForce 3 drivers. AGPgart, IDE (Not all
SATA chipsets) and most network adapters onboard NF3 systems are supported,
sound seems to be largely ALSA supported, so would require additional
packages. For install, see http://www.linuxtx.org/amd64faq.html
