up2date problem?

30 seconds is not nearly enough time for this process on my system.  It
takes at least 2-3 minutes, if updating a "virgin" system, and that's on a
system with a 600 MHz processor, which isn't THAT slow.  So I'd say give
it time.

This may not be a bug, but intended behavior.
