Postfix issues

have a look at your /etc/postfix/main.cf: you will find some lines in
there called

#inet_interfaces = localhost
inet_interfaces = all
#inet_interfaces = $myhostname
#inet_interfaces = $myhostname, localhost

ook prefereably, that inet_interfaces = all is uncommented as above, it it
isn't it might be possible that postfix listens in nowhere....with
inet_interfaces = all you tell postfix to listen to all interfaces you can
find via /sbin/ifconfig.

Let me know, whether it's this or not.
