xvoice error with Fedora Core Test3

I've installed IBM's Voice_runtime-3.0-1.2.i386.rpm, and then
the front-end xvoice-0.9.5-1.i386.rpm. However, an attempt
to launch xvoice from a root console returns this error message:

]# xvoice
xvoice: relocation error: /usr/lib/libvtbnfc31.so: symbol errno, version 
GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

How do I correct this?
