gtkam (digital camera detection)

I just tried my camera too on 'test 2'.
The issue isn't with the gphoto/gtkam stuff
its with the underlying USB code.

Upon further investigation, I found out that the USB layer
doesn't detect dynamically plugged in devices (anymore)
ie. all controllers are empty.

I think you may find that you camera works if you plug it
in and reboot.

But as soon as you unplug it, its gone, and won't re-appear
when you plug it back in again.

The same thing happens with other USB devices (web cam, and floppy).
