Uhhmmm ... because that is the intended behaviour? evolution-data-server
is a daemon integrated into the GNOME desktop that allows all GNOME apps
to access its data. evolution-alarm-notify notifies you of events in
your calendar that you've set an alarm for even if evolution itself
isn't running. There's nothing wrong. This is how they're meant to work.
