X Windows appears to lock up

It appears to be the same bug.  Interestingly when I first ran the glxinfo 
command in a terminal window where I had su'd to root I didn't get the 
crash, but did when I issued the command as a regular user.  I have since 
been unable to duplicate that, however, so it was probably a fluke of some 
kind.  

I have added my comments and log to the existing bug.  Thanks for the 
pointer.
