No, but since people are throwing out ideas...

How about adding yum metadata (createrepo, and perhaps yum-arch - for
FC2 updates) to the DVD iso?  The image (or for that matter the physical
media) could then be mounted  as a local yum [os] repo, accessed as a
file:/ URL.  Would save user's disk space and everybody's network
bandwidth.
