FC3T2 system is in an infinite loop of reboots

Hi 

 

I have a desktop (FC3T2) that was updated from rawhide a couple of weeks
ago.

However, during the install phase some package install failed and
everything was not completed.

 

So, now the machine reboots itself over and over again.  I tried to get
myself into init level 3 or even single user mode (but still reboots
again and again).

Nothing is working for me.

 

I can get a "grub" prompt.   Any recommendations out there?   How to
recover?
