update from FC1 to FC3-Test3 failed

I attempted to upgrade a Fedora core 1 system to  FC3-test3 using the ISO
install disks.

apparently Anaconda failed and then rebooted the computer part way into the
install process.

Apparently nothing was actually installed since the system rebooted and
Fedora Core 1
came back up.

It looks like it will be necessary to do a full format to get from Fedora
Core 1 to 
Fedora Core 3.
