FTP install

Well,

my fedora box is still down and I am about to do "windows thing" namely 
clean install

I've tried to do ftp install via boot.iso downloaded and burned today.

The problem is that after assigning IP address and pointing it to ftp 
server:

ftp.linux.ncsu.edu
/mirror/ftp.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/development/i386/

...........nothing happens

I have a blue ('sic)  screen with red Fedora Core in top left corner and 
F key options at the bottom of the screen.... and that's all

any thoughts anybody?
