Scanner seems to have vanished

Hi,

When I start my PC up, FC finds my SCSI scanner quite happily (I have an
Adaptec AHA7850 SCSI controller). When I run kooka, only my USB webcam
is found. The module loaded is the aic7xxx for the SCSI card. This has
never skipped a beat or failed.

The aic module is being used by scsi_mod, which looks about right.

Any idea on getting the scanner working again or do I need to a kernel
recompile for support of my Mustek Paragon 600 II CD?
