hald daemon taking 97% of CPU time

Hi List,
This is my first email to FC Test list.
I just installed FC3 test2 on my Dell Latitude C810. I did reinstall (not upgrade) on this laptop previously loaded with Redhat Linux 9 and WinXP. Installation went through without any problem. First impression with FC3 test-2 is very good.

Every thing seems to be ok except hald daemon. This daemon is taking 85% to 98% of CPU time. What could be the reason? How to fix this?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
