Up2date not being maintained any longer?

yum shell
> list updates
> info somepackage
> update
> run

all with only a single read of the repo information.

broken how? The thing that most often "breaks" yum is mirrors being out
of sync or the repositories being in unresolved states.
Not exactly yum's fault.
