The initscripts package contains the basic system scripts used to boot
your Red Hat system, change runlevels, and shut the system down
cleanly.  Initscripts also contains the scripts that activate and
deactivate most network interfaces.

Update Information:

This package fixes ifup-ipsec to work with the 2.6.10 kernel, along with
various assorted other fixes.

It will be pushed final once there is sufficient verification of the
ipsec fixes.

launch the Update Agent with the 'up2date' command.  You may 
need to edit your up2date channels configuration.  Within 
/etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources enable the following line:
