Things not working FC4 release

In the installer did you change the boot order so the SATA drive was
first? I had to do that with 2 IDE drives and 1 SATA drive in my box.
Also had to select boot SCSI/SATA first in bios.

Did you try a fresh config with system-config-display -v --reconfig?
(backup /etc/xorg.conf first)
