nvidia and openGL

I have not used the ATrpms packages - I would
recommend trying the ones from livna.org, since
they're known to work.

Do you see any error messages?
Anything in /var/log/*Xorg* that looks bad?

You should also run /sbin/lsmod to check whether
the nvidia driver is loaded in the kernel.
