Have suspend/hibernate options been removed in latest install?

Hmmm, this would be about the time I noticed that gnome-session seems to
take forever to get the through and finished.

Have others noticed this?

It's a bit 'innocuous', but the splash hangs around for way too long,
and if you run nm-applet, it takes a good time (three or four minutes)
to fire up and connect to the network.

The splash seems to stall at Nautilus and while the desktop seems to get
going quite quickly, gnome-session doesn't get everything fired up as
fast as it did.
