2.6.14-1.1696_FC5 installs but kernel crashes on boot

Slight over-enthusiasm on my part, it gets past the old sticking point, 
starts init, and then after a while I get another panic which I think is 
related to the saa1734 driver, time to whip the DVB-T cards out for a 
while :-(

With FC4 those cards were recognised by lspci, but I can't remember if 
V4L actually loaded drivers for them or not ...
